The ocean, family, reading, and writing make me happy. So does my cat.
Hi Olive, Theresa’s list would exactly mirror my happy things.
I woul have to omit the cat and add in, when I write on my blog and people come read it and like it, that is definitely one of my ‘happy’ things at the moment.
Top of my list would be buying a new book and waiting for a pot of coffee to brew – perfect.
My favourites are walking on the strand breathing in the sea air. All my children home together. A bright sunny kitchen, the first cup of Barry’s tea in the morning, hours to while away in a bookshop.

A good book, blue sky, my dogs, fresh cup of coffee, a pair of new shoes, listening to Conor Oberst, having a good-hair day, writing a good paragraph… I love making lists, can you tell?! 🙂
One of my favourites has to be the ocean too. Whenever I’m feeling stressed, when I go for a walk by the harbour and everything seems a little better:)
